What you need to prepare

How to sew in with closure?

Step 1: Prep your hair

The first thing you need to do is washing your hair since you are going to wear the wefts and lace closure for some time; hence, it’s better to make your hair clean before you proceed with the installation. And remember to condition your hair to add moisture and let it dry completely.

Step 2: Make cornrows

You can part your hair and make cornrows with your favorite technique, but make sure you keep the braids small to make the foundation flat, which secures a natural look. You should also have cornrow braids all along your hairline, especially at the front.

02 Closure Sew In

Step 3: Sew in with closure

You need to start the installation of the lace closure on your head by positioning it on your part, keeping the straight edge align with your front hairline. You can overlap the front hairline for less than 1cm.

Pull one side of the lace closure to the cornrow along your hairline and use the U-curved needle to attach them together. Then, do the same with the other side of the lace closure. After that, start sewing the front of the closure from the left side and make a round back to the side edge. Repeat the step for the right side.

After you finish attaching the front and edges, it’s time to sew along the lace closure towards the back. And now, you can gently twist the lace closure into a loose bun and secure with a clip or hair tie to keep the hair away for the next step.

Step 4: Sew in the wefts
